Technically, you don’t wake up a new person. A new year doesn’t change you, you need to work on changing yourself. The only thing new about the new year is a calendar and the date.

Most girls do but there are girls out there who treat their guy like crap. There’s nothing wrong with playing hard to get, but not too hard.
